With a full house of 1,000 attendee gathered at the Gala Theatre, the premiere was attended by director Fahad Alammari, producers Mohammed Mohammed Algarawi and Mujahed Aljumaiaah, as well as cast of the original YouTube show the film is based on.
The dark comedy movie AlKhallat+ is created by the same group of acclaimed Saudi comedians and actors including Mohammed Aldokhei, Ibraheem Alkhairallah, Abdulaziz Alshehri, Ibrahem Al Hajjaj, Sohayb Godus, Fahad Albutairi, Ziyad Alamri, and Ismail Al Hassan,
“AlKhallat+ reintroduces everything fans loved about the generation-defining AlKhallat digital series which amassed over 1.5 billion views in its 22 episode run,” stated Netflix in a press release published after the screening.

Produced by Telfaz11, AlKhallat+ connects four stories of social deception in unlikely places.
It will be released on Netflix in 190 countries on 19 January 2023.
Running until 10 December with dozen of acclaimed international and Arab filmmakers and casts attending, the second edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival is showcasing 131 feature and short films from 61 countries in 41 languages, including 34 world premieres, 17 Arab premieres and 47 Middle East and North Africa premieres.
