Ahram Online brings you a selection of films to be released in cinemas across Egypt during Eid Al-Fitr.

Ramsis-Paris

Director: Ahmed Khaled Moussa
Starring: Haifa Wehbe, Hamdi El-Mirghani, Moustafa Khater, Mohamed Salam and Mohamed Tharwat

The comedy’s plot follows a group of Egyptians on their trip from Cairo’s Ramsis neighbourhood to Paris and the many funny situations they encounter. The story reaches its climax when they decide to form a gang, which lands them in a series of troubles.

Harley

Director: Mohamed Samir
Starring: Mohamed Ramadan, Mahmoud Hemeida, May Omar, Ahmad Dash, Hosny Sheta, May Kassab

Harley, a mechanical engineer, returns from the Gulf with his family to complete his studies in Egypt. His intelligence and speed lead him to work with a gang and he becomes their most prominent member and closest to the gang leader.

The events take place inside a veterinary hospital, focusing on a struggle between good and evil.

Baad El-Shar (Away from Evil)

Sully is a lover boy, who escapes his marriage to Farah to find himself in love with Mariam but fails to marry her because of a spell. His journey contains many comedic situations with his friend Meshmesh.

A horror feature that tells the story of Ezz El-Din, who returns from abroad after many years, looking for his family. While staying at his family's mansion, he discovers an unexpected adventure.

Ibn El-Hajj Ahmed (Son of Hagg Ahmed)

Starring: Chico, Rahma Ahmed Farag, Sayed Ragab, Aida Riyad, Sabry Fawaz, Moustafa Gharieb

Ahmed, known as "Shalta", faces a dilemma after discovering that his father, Hajj Ahmed El-Qaeed, the grocery owner, is a former secret agent chased by an organisation trying to eliminate him. Ahmed decides to save him, but things get complicated.
