Popular Egyptian band Black Theama presents original compositions and arrangements of their known hits, along with their unique music that traces its origins to Nubia, Sudan, and Africa. 

Aziz Maraka concert

El-Sawy Culturewheel, River Hall, 26th of July Street, Zamalek, Cairo

Born and based in Tunisia, Maraka is a Jordanian songwriter, singer and producer with Palestinian origins.

His journey in music began when he started playing the piano and was later awarded a scholarship to pursue his education in the US. While studying, Maraka released several songs, with one of his first hits being Bent El Nas, which was included in his self-titled debut album (2008).

Maraka has a particularly huge fan base in Jordan, where he performs frequently. He has also performed across the Arab region to large audiences.

Cairo Opera House, Zamalek, Cairo

The evening will feature numerous singers - Iman Abdel-Ghany, Ahmed Effat, Amira Ahmed, Yasser Soliman, Mohamed Hassan, and Hanan Essam - performing known love songs alongside national tunes. Mostafa Helmy will conduct the orchestra. 

The concert will include the participation of students from different classes of the Talents Development Centre, a body operating within the Cairo Opera House.
