In accepting the Best Actress award, Cailee Spaeny said: "Priscilla trusted me with something truly complex, subtle, difficult, and personal and I was overwhelmed by the responsibility to honour this delicate section of her life."
Meanwhile, Peter Sarsgaard used his acceptance speech to back the ongoing Hollywood strikes, stressing that the biggest issue in the strikes was confronting the threat from artificial intelligence.
"We all agree that an actor is a person and a writer is a person, but it seems we can't. And that's terrifying because this work is about connection," said Sarsgaard.
