Ziad and his family endured years of abuse by his father. When the situation becomes unbearable, he decides to take matters into his own hands to put an end to their suffering.

The film delves into the sensitive subject of domestic abuse. It aims to bring more awareness to this issue by using compelling cinematography, visual storytelling, and authentic performances, revealing the film's promotional company.

Ziad Zaza, a standout trap artist, quickly made a name for himself in Egypt's rap scene with his distinctive take on drill music. He came to the limelight following his first album, El Rays, which his fans applauded for its unconventional delivery and powerful singing style.

Amr Salama is one of the most accomplished Egyptian filmmakers of his generation. His works include numerous award-winning titles such as On a Day Like Today (2008); Asmaa (2011); Excuse My French (2014); Made in Egypt (2014); and Sheikh Jackson (2017).

In 2011, he co-directed the documentary Tahrir 2011: The Good, the Bad, and the Politician, a film that won several awards including the UNESCO award at the Venice Film Festival.

In 2020, Salama wrote and directed Netflix's first original TV series in Egypt titled Paranormal, which was listed by Variety as one of the best international shows that year.

He co-wrote and directed the film Extracurricular in 2021.

He has co-produced and co-directed the TV series Bimbo for Shahid VIP.

Most recently Salama was revealed to be on the jury of the International Emmy Awards.

The festival continues to be held under the patronage of El Gouna founder, engineer Samih Sawiris, and is presented by Orascom Development, with the support of festival founder, engineer Naguib Sawiris.
