Written and directed by an Italian filmmaker Ilaria Borrelli, the film will have its world premiere during the upcoming El-Gouna Film Festival, slated for 13-20 October.

The film is a co-production between numerous Egyptian, Arab, and international parties.

Agora Media Production and Domedo Productions in collaboration with Orange Media, OSCAR Generale P.G.A, Cedars Art Production (Sabbah Brothers), and Pantheon Entertainment. 

The Italian Ministry of Culture also supported the film.

Agora revealed the film's official trailer on their Instagram account.

The film's synopsis reveals that "A young girl forced into an abusive marriage escapes and travels, accompanied by her goat, through the desert to save her village's water spring from a greedy Western corporation."

Savage is in the role of CEO of a US multinational company, Julian Brown, while Mira Sorvino plays the company’s engineer, Anna Bickering.

The Egyptian cast also includes Jessica Hossam, Maya Talem, Fathy Abdelwahab, and Arafah Abdulrasool.
