Winners of 3rd Red Sea International Film Festival

The Red Sea International Film Festival announced the winners of its 3rd edition (30 November-9 December, 2023) during the awards ceremony that took place yesterday at the Ritz Carlton theatre in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

The Red Sea Feature Film competition jury was headed by Australian writer, director, and producer Baz Luhrmann. 

The jury panel also included: Swedish-American actor Joel Kinnaman; BAFTA Award-nominated actress Freida Pinto; Egyptian actress Amina Khalil; and Spanish actress Paz Vega.

The Red Sea Shorts competition's jury panel featured Hana Alomair, a Saudi writer, and filmmaker; French-Moroccan actor Assaad Bouab; and award-winning Turkish-German film director, screenwriter and producer Fatih Akin. 

The festival also honoured American actor and film producer Nicholas Cage, who joined the festival's 2023 honour line-up of Diane Kruger, Ranveer Singh, and Abdullah Al-Sadhan.
