Still from Black Brown White
On Monday, 3 September the Austrian Cultural Forum in Cairo will screen an Austrian film, Black Brown White (2011) directed by Erwin Wagenhofer.
The movie follows a Nigerian woman, her child and the truck driver that helps them cross to the Swiss border. The story becomes a touching tale about human conditions and relation between the protagonists in challenging situations while the smallest details taken care of by the director add a sense of profound emotional uplifting.
The screening will be followed by the opening of The Unknown European, an exhibition of black and white photography presenting European minorities.
