The series received awards, including Best Comedy Series, Best Comedy Actress for Dina El-Sherbiny, Best Supporting Comedy Actress for Aya Samaha, and Best Comedy Screenwriter for Rana Abou El-Rish and Yosr Taher.
Additionally, it earned further recognition with Celia Mohamed Saad winning Best Child Actress, while Hamza Diab and Lina Sophia were honoured as Best Rising Actor and Actress, respectively.
Directed by Khaled El-Halafawy, the 15-episode series is the second season of Kamel El-Addad, which revolves around Laila (Dina El-Sherbiny), who has been married twice and has four children. She falls in love with Ahmed (Sherif Salama), a widower with three kids.
The second season follows the couple’s challenges and hardships after their marriage as they raise their seven children together, in addition to their new baby.
Other series that won awards include Al-Hashasheen, which received accolades for Best 30-Episode Drama Series and Best 30-Episode Series Director. Lahzet Ghadab was celebrated as Best 15-Episode Drama Series, while Ala Nesbet Moshahda was honoured with awards for Best Drama Actress and Best Drama Screenwriter.
Furthermore, Gawdar was recognized as Best 15-Episode Director, Ashgal Shaqa won Best Comedy Actor and Best Comedy Screenwriter, Massar Egbari was awarded Best Drama Actor, and El-Meaalem received the award for Best Child Actor.
The event is part of the Creative Industry Summit, taking place at Cairo Business Park.
