Days after his appointment Ashraf Zaky has resigned from his new post as head of the Egyptian Cinema Association

Helmy El Sayed, the head of Egyptian Media Production City (EMPC), temporarily appointed the film critic and head of international cooperation sector at EMPC, Youssef Sherif Rizkallah, as the association’s new head.

Ashraf Zaky was also the head of the Egyptian actor’s syndicate and was also removed by its members shortly after the ousting of Mubarak.
