At the Damanhour Opera House, the Alexandria Troupe for Arabic Music and Singing will commemorate Oum Kalthoum by performing a selection of her songs, as well as celebrating Valentine’s day with a number of well known Arabic love songs.
Conducted by Abd El-Hamid Abd El-Ghaffar, the first part of the evening will feature a selection of Valentines themed songs performed by Mohamed Tarel, Wael Abo El-Fotouh, May El-Gebily, Hossam Galal, Mohamed Metwally, Mohamed Khouly, Yasser Said and Somaya Wagdy.
The second half of the performance will present selected songs by Oum Kalthoum, including her most popular -- Enta Omry and Baeed Annak -- that will be performed by Marwa Hamdy and Hasnaa.
