The 53rd season (2011/2012) of the Cairo Symphony Orchestra will open with a concert conducted by Japanese guest conductor Hirofumi Yoshida on Saturday, 17 September.
The evening programme will include Tchaikovsky's compositions 1812 Overture Op. 49; Capriccio Italian Op. 45; and Symphony No.5 in E minor, Op. 64.
The concert starts at 8pm at the Cairo Opera House Main Hall.
