In celebration of their fifth anniversary, Eskenderella's upcoming concert entitled "Magnoon", featuring a collection of Egyptian songs, is scheduled to take place at  the River Hall, El Sawy Culturewheel on Friday 24 December 2010.

Eskenderella, was formed in 2001 by a group of Alexandrian musicians. Throughout their first year and a half, they did a number of musical concerts in different cultural spots in Alexandria. The band stopped for a number of years, but came back in a new form and more members in December 2005. They also added more songs of their own compositions, written by leading poets like Fouad Hadad, Naguib Shehab El Deen and young poet Ahmed Hadad among others. They also present famous songs by Sayed Darwish, El Sheikh Emam and Ziad Rahbany. The name Eskenderella is taken from the title of a poem by the poet Khamis Ezz El Arab.
