Cairo Opera House postpones a number of events

Tonight's Omar Khairat concert among several events cancelled

Due to the unrest in Egypt, Cairo’s Opera House has announced the postponing of a number of events planned to take place over the coming days. 

The Omar Khairat concert, which was planned to take place on 21 and 22 November is postponed until further notice. The audience will be reimbursed for tickets bought.

Tuesday’s session of the Cinema Club, held at the Cairo Opera House every Tuesday, is also cancelled.

The Cairo Opera Orchestra Liszt celebrations scheduled for Thursday 24 November, and the Cairo Symphony Orchestra concert, scheduled on Saturday 26 November, are postponed until further notice.

The Opera management is considering further changes in the programme, and said that audiences would be advised soon.
