To commemorate the great Hungarian composer Franz Liszt (1811 - 1886), the Cairo Opera House will next week host a concert on the occasion of the bicentenary of his birth.
The programme will include:
- Les Preludes, Symphonic Poem
- Hungarian Rhapsody No.2
- Hungaria, Symphonic Poem
- Faust Symphony final for Tenor solo, male Choir & Orchestra

Choir Master: Maya Gveneria.
Cairo Opera Orchestra will be conducted by Nayer Nagui
Previously scheduled to take place on 24 November, the concert was postponed due to the violence and deaths in Tahrir Square and Mohamed Mahmoud Street.
