Art Alert: Tango Night with Flute & Bow ensemble

The ensemble was founded this year by flautist Rania Omar and has performed at the Cairo Opera House

The newly formed Flute & Bow ensemble will present a tango music night at Room art space in Cairo's Garden City area on 27 April.

Flute & Bow was formed earlier this year by flautist Rania Omar, and comprises of Mohamed Mohy on the violin, Mahmoud Zakaria on the viola, Mohamed Ahmed on the cello, Karim Adnan on counter base, and Mohamed Arafa on the percussions.

They were featured recently on the radio show Aadet Mazzika on Nogoom FM channel.

They performed in February at the Cairo Opera House, and in March at Bab 18 Art Space as part of the Mother’s Day Bazaar.
