Egypt’s Cairo Opera House has suspended all scheduled artistic activity at all of its venues until 25 February due to "current events," in a reference to ongoing political turbulence.
The opera house has promised to keep audiences posted regarding the possible rescheduling of events planned for the period.
The temporary suspension does not, however, include exhibition halls operating under opera house management, meaning that all exhibitions currently showing at these venues would remain accessible to the public.
