This Friday, the traditional Sufi chanter Ihab Younis will perform a selection of Ibtihal and Mwashah traditional songs in Damanhour

Islamic chanter Ihab Younis will give a concert at Damanhour Opera House on Friday, 6 December, where he will perform traditional Sufi Ibtihal and Mwashah chanting alongside some of his original works.
 
Yunis, who is frequently featured with the Egyptian-German ensemble Cairo Steps, a group founded by Basem Darwisch, has collaborated with many known musicians, including Assalah, Hisham Kharma, Wael El-Sayed, and others.
 
Recently, the chanter has published a video of his performances during a concert in Kenya amid celebrations of Al-Moulid Al-Nabawi, the birthday of Islam's Prophet Mohammad.
