For the first time in the Middle East and North Africa, Swedish music streaming subscription platform Spotify has officially launched 'Wrapped', an annual end-of-year list of the leading artists, albums, songs and playlists on the platform.

"This showcases how 248 million people around the world have listened to and discovered music for the year 2019, taking a look at examining music, culture and streaming through the eyes of the fans and artists that made it all possible," Spotify stated in on Thursday.
