Recently-formed Egyptian band Monte Cairo Music is gearing up for its performance at the Cairo Opera House on Friday, 3 January.
"We have the great honor to perform at the Grand Theatre," stated the band, urging their fans to attend and "enjoy this amazing night."
Led by arranger and conductor Sherif Nour, Monte Cairo Music combines an arsenal of experienced musicians and will perform a selection of Eastern and Western classics of the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s, in the form of a theatrical nostalgic night directed by Maher Zikry.
"Each act is a true artistic short play on stage, starting from clothing, lighting, makeup, decoration,” the band revealed.
Monte Cairo Music proudly describes its mission as "connecting with youth to enrich their musical knowledge, as well as older generations who grew up with these songs."
