Egyptian singer Nouran Abu Taleb
Egyptian singer Nouran Abu Taleb will perform a concert at the Arabic Music Institute on Valentine's Day, performing some of her originals in addition to a few covers.
The young talent performs a mixture of Arabic jazz and pop songs from different eras, along with original songs composed by Samer George and Nouran.
Samer George, a bass guitarist, always accompanies the young talent, in addition to Mosafa Said on the clarinet, Hani Bedir on percussion, and Ahmed Emry on the qanun.
Together with George, Abu Taleb composed several songs including Fawazeer, the theme of Alemet Estefham (Question Mark) TV series, which recently broadcast on various TV channels during the Ramadan season.
Abu Taleb started with the German University in Cairo (GUC) music ensemble before developing her own identity in blending Arabic, jazz, and classical music.
