Egyptian pop superstar Amr Diab gave a big concert Saturday at Al-Manara Centre in New Cairo celebrating the 2020 launch of his album 'Sahran'.
The event, which was postponed for one night due to the death of former president Hosni Mubarak, saw thousands of enthusiastic spectators singing along with their favorite pop star.
Diab is an exceptional success who topped the Arab charts for almost four decades and has collaborated with many of the top lyricists, composers and producers of the pop scene.
The 16-song typical Diab album, produced by Nay, had huge success during its pre-order period, trending on social media even before its release on various audio platforms.
'Sahran', officially in stores starting Sunday 1 March, sees Diab collaborating with various arrangers like Tarek Madkour, Nader Hamdy, Osama El-Hindy and Ramy Samir, working with renowned composers like Amr Mostafa and Aziz El-Shafei.
