The Cairo Opera House announces it will resume its Children's Choir as of April; Application window open to children until Friday, 16 March

The newly appointed chaiperson of the Cairo Opera House, Ines Abdel Dayem, has announced that the Children's Choir, led by conductor Selim Sehab, will resume in April. The call for young, talented singers is open now until this Friday, 16 March.

Sehab details that the finalists will join the Opera's Children Choir and their first performance is scheduled to take place on 22 April.

The Cairo Opera Children's Choir was established in 1989 under the supervision of Ratiba Hefny to produce generations of talented artists. Their concerts feature all forms of Arab singing. The choir also seeks to achieve a number of educational and social goals to preserve the identity of Egyptian art and heighten the artistic and cultural senses among children.

Anyone interested in enrolling their children should contact the Cairo Opera House in Zamalek.
