Guitarist, oud player, singer and songwriter El-Ayoubi gained popularity in the 1990s and released three albums (Ala Bali 1991, Rafiq Umry 1992, Men Zaman 1993) in a short period of time. She stopped performing for several years, making her return in 2011 with Bahebek Yabaldy and Ya El-Midan, in which she performed together with Cairokee.

HOH band's name is an acronym from the names of its three members, each of whom is well-known in Egypt's music scene from other independent bands: Hany Adel (front man of Wust El-Balad), Ousso Lotfy (guitarist from Nagham Masry) and Hany El-Dakkak (front man of Massar Egbari).

WE Online Music Festival kicked off on 3 May featuring the well-known band Wust El Balad. The second concert took place on 8 May featuring Egyptian Project and Dina El Wedidi.

As the festival continues until 3 July, the full line-up is yet to offer many well-known musicians. Check the programme here.
