Egyptian rock band Massar Egbari will give a live concert on Wednesday 21 July at Cairo's Zamalek Theatre.
Founded in 2005, Massar Egbari is one of the leading independent bands in Egypt with their line-up of musicians: Hani El-Dakkak (guitar and lead vocal), Ahmed Hafez (bass guitar), Tamer Attallah (drums), Ayman Massoud (keyboards), and Mahmoud Siam (guitar).
The band's albums include Read The News (2013), Songs from a Stolen Spring (compilation, 2014), Rise and Fall (2015), The Album (2018).
Massar Egbari has given hundreds of concerts in Egypt, the Arab region and internationally to a large fan-base following on their music. Besides performing as a band, Massar Egbari's members have also embarked on numerous solo projects.
The band remained active during the pandemic months working on new songs and participating in online events, one of them being WE Online Music Festival that presented numerous musicians over the span of two months in summer of 2020.
