Renowned Egyptian singer Ali El-Haggar will perform this Thursday at the Cairo Opera House's Fountain Theater, as part of summer concerts programme.
Ali El-Haggar, 67, will be singing some of his most memorable hits as well as famous TV series themes.
After recovering from COVID-19 last month, Ali El-Haggar performed in Alexandria on 17 July as part of the Bibliotheca Alexandria's 19th International Summer Festival.
Ali El-Haggar has been one of the best known singers in Egypt and the Arab world over the past four decades, often singing to the lyrics drawn from the poetry by Salah Jahin, Abdel-Rahman El-Abnoudy, and Sayed Hegab. He also collaborated with or sings to the music by some of the country's renowned composers from Baligh Hamdy and Sayed Mekkawy to Omar Khairat and Fathy Salama.
The open-air stage of the Cairo Opera (Fountain Theatre) was established last year to avoid spreading COVID-19. The same venue will also be hosting concerts for Hani Shaker (1 August), Hisham Kharma (2 August), Mohamed Mohsen (5 August) among other events.
Programme:
Thursday 27 July, 8pm
