Egyptian singer Mohamed Mohsen will perform this Thursday at the Cairo Opera House's Fountain Theater, as part of their summer concerts programme.

The popular singer is expected to perform his latest release El-Nesyan, written by Ahmed El-Malky and composed by Khaled Ezz; alongside his 2020 composition of Mostafa Ibrahim’s poem Atshan, produced by Rafik Adly; as well as other originals from his 2017 album Habayeb Zaman; in addition to other covers of classic Arabic songs

Before releasing dozens of original songs, the 35-year-old singer, composer and actor originally gained fame by singing covers of many romantic and traditional patriotic Egyptian songs, including those by Sayed Darwisch, Mohamed Abdel-Wahab, Sheikh Imam and other legendary composers.

The open-air stage of the Cairo Opera (Fountain Theatre) was established last year to avoid spreading COVID-19. The same venue will also be hosting concerts for Hani Shaker (1 August), Hisham Kharma (2 August), Massar Egbari (11 August), Balqees (12 August), among other events.

Programme:
Thursday 5 August, 8pm
Fountain Theater, Cairo Opera House, Zamalek
