Organised by MDLBEAST, an entertainment company working across the Arab region, the Soundstorm four-day multi-genre music, art and culture festival in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will take place between 16 and 19 December.
The line up consists of 150 stars from the region and international music scene, featuring numerous renowned names from Middle East, such as Lebanese stars, Nancy Ajram and Elissa.
The international line-up includes Armin Van Buuren, David Guetta, Deadmau5, DJ Snake, Eric Prydz, Martin Garrix, Paul Kalkbrenner, Tisto, and Steve Aoki, as well as Adam Beyer, Amelie Lens, Carl Cox, Charlotte de Witte, Jeff Mills, Nina Kraviz and Sven Väth, among many others.
The largest music festival in the Kingdom, the organisers expect an audience of 500,000 over the course of the festival. According to MDLBEAST, their 2019 festival that spanned several stages was attended by a total of 400,000 attendees.
The organisers explain that their vision is "to deliver a unique and positive experience for hundreds of thousands of people as they enjoy some of the world’s biggest stars performing in front of a passionate Saudi audience.”
“We are undertaking comprehensive measures around COVID to ensure our guests have the best and safest possible experience, all in partnership with local entertainment and health regulators,” they added.
The event is preceded by XP, a three-day music conference that will dive into the cultural and economic changes in the region and its music industry.
