Spectators showed their enthusiasm by singing along with the 34-year-old entertainer to his rap-mahraganat hits like Balalein, Number One, Ala Allah, Taaleily, Mafia, Tanteet, Zilzal, Bum Bum and others.

Through different colorful tableaus, Ramadan and his group of dancers changed costumes throughout the show, performing choreography supported by Sami Yussif’s visual, light and fire shows.

Ramadan also appeared in an Upper Egyptian custom during the show to promote his upcoming TV series El-Omda, directed by Mohamed Samy.

The actor and singer has courted controversy on multiple occasions in recent years, including in 2020 for his photos with Israeli actors and footballers, for which he was summoned in front of the Actors Syndicate.

Ramadan was not the only star performing on Friday; pop star Ruby put on a separate concert, while Egyptian bands Sharmoofers and Disco Misr merged for another big concert in Alamein.

In a hot summer, the North Coast is witnessing a boom in music concerts this season, with most of the biggest pop stars performing; including Amr Diab, Kadim Al Sahir, Tamer Hosni, Hamaki and many others.
