The single, which was filmed in Qatar and released on the FIFA World Cup Qatar YouTube channel on Wednesday, scored 800,000 views in less than 48 hours and is runnerup among treding music in the region.

The timing of the release prompted some media outlets to speculate that Wegz will perform the song during the World Cup closing ceremony.

If confirmed, this would make him the first Egyptian singer ever to perform in a World Cup ceremony.

However, these speculations were not confirmed nor refuted by the artist or the FIFA's channels.

Wegz is among the most prominent Egyptian rappers who dominate the most-listened-to lists in the Arab region on Spotify.

This year and for the third year in a row, Wegz was listed on the top artist in Spotify in Egypt and the region.

His romantic song El-Bakht is also Egypt's and the region's top-streamed song; his B3ouda Ya Belady and Keify Keda came in fourth and tenth place, respectively.
