Egypt's pop stars Amr Diab, Tamer Ashour, Tamer Hosny, Angham to give concerts in Kuwait

The Egyptian pop music heavyweights will perform in Kuwait during the month of May.

AnghamTamer Ashour, and Tamer Hosny will take part in Kuwait Summer Festival set to take place at The Kuwait Arena (TAK), the country's largest indoor events venue with a more-than-5,000-person seating capacity.

Angham and Tamer Ashopur will perform on 11 May, accompanied by a 50-musician-strong orchestra led by Egyptian maestro Hany Farhat.

They will be followed by Tamer Hosny, who will take the stage on 12 May in a concert that will also feature Miami Band, a khaliji band from Kuwait.

The Kuwait Summer Festival will also present concerts by Lebanese Elissa and Syrian Assala on 13 May.

A few days later on 18 May, and outside the festival days, Egyptian megastar Amr Diab will take the TAK stage in a concert.

The Iranian singer Googoosh will perform on 5 May, also outside the festival's dates.

These series of concerts are part of the TAK's efforts to provide inspiring and memorable experiences to its audiences. The venues reveals on its website that it will continue to bring "a comprehensive range of local, regional and international events to Kuwait."

Apart of their performances in their home country, the Egyptian pop stars are among the frequent guests of venues across the Gulf region. Amr Diab, Mohamed Hamaki, Angham, Tamer Ashour among others are returning artists to Saudi Arabia especially during the Riyadh Season.
