Shenouda has promised a range of surprises at his upcoming concert, including appearances from indie stars Dina El-Wedidi and Nouran Abutaleb, as well as renowned singer and actress Simone.

Shenouda, who recently turned 80, has revolutionized Egyptian pop music during his six-decade career and has won numerous awards.

Shenouda's major achievements include collaborating with Abdel-Halim Hafez and Nagat, forming Egypt's first indie band, El-Masreyeen (The Egyptians), discovering talents like Mohamed Mounir and Amr Diab, and composing hundreds of memorable songs and film scores that have inspired Arab audiences for generations.

He composed a dozen hit film scores for Adel Emam, including El-Mashbouh, El-Moled, El-Hareef, Esabet Hamada W-Toto, and Shams El-Zanaty, among others.

Highlights of these songs include Mona Aziz's Mashya El-Sanyora, Nagat's Bahlam Ma'ak and Ana Bashak El-Bahr, and Ahmed Adaweya's Zahma, just to name a few.

Tickets are available for the concert, starting at 8 pm, with prices ranging from 250 to 800 EGP.

This is Shenouda's first major performance since March, when he was celebrated in Riyadh with a tribute night featuring Arab superstars like Amr Diab, Mohamed Mounir, Angham, Cairokee, Ahmed Adaweya, and many others who sang his unforgettable melodies.

Last week, Egypt's Supreme Council of Culture chose Shenouda for the Nile Awards' Appreciation Award in Arts as part of the annual Nile Awards ceremony.
