The music video for Miganinani, which was released on Maraka's YouTube channel on Wednesday, follows the musician and El-Tahtawy's appearance on Season 8 of The Blind Date show in September 2022.

The widely popular weekly YouTube show brings together well-known figures as two strangers in front of the camera.

After El-Tahtawy and Maraka's appearance on the show, several social media users urged them to collaborate on Maraka's upcoming song.

The music video features recreated segments of The Blind Date show set, providing strong nods to the initial encounter between the two.

Miganinani features lyrics by Mohamed Shafaay and music by Maraka, which infuse the listeners with romantic and cheerful emotions, complemented by a summery vibe. The music video shows him performing on a beach, creating a joyful atmosphere.

"Your love is like the sea, beautiful... Your eyes have magic in them... From the first day, I knew that you liked me, no matter what happens, I will not abandon you for a day," the lyrics read.

Directed by Islam Hisham, the music video was filmed in a coastal village in Egypt.

Lina El-Tahtawy, born in 1995, is an Egyptian broadcaster and a graduate of the Faculty of Mass Communication.

The daughter of Egyptian musician Tarek El-Tahtawy, Lina established her career as a TV presenter at OnTime Sports, a well-known TV channel, and as a radio presenter at Nogoum FM.

Both channels have more than eight million followers on Facebook and are among the top-followed programmes by Egyptian fans.

Born in 1983, Aziz Maraka is a Jordanian singer-songwriter and producer of Palestinian descent.

Maraka's musical journey began with piano playing, and he received a scholarship to study in the US, where he earned a bachelor's degree in music composition from the University of Arkansas.

During his studies, he released several songs, including Bent El Nas, which became one of his first hits and was featured on his self-titled debut album in 2008.

Maraka's success with Bent El Nas opened doors to a thriving career, popularizing his personal style, which he calls Razz - a fusion of Arabic rock and jazz, performed in the Jordanian dialect.

He performs frequently in Jordan, where he has a particularly massive fan base.

Maraka has performed to large audiences across the Arab region, including on several occasions in Egypt.

During the Aid El-Adha holidays, Maraka's latest concert in Cairo was held on 1 July at El-Sawy Culturewheel.
