The summer festival will bring renowned local and Arab performers to the Mediterranean city from 3 August until 1 September.
Among the programme's highlights are concerts by well-known Egyptian bands such as Massar Egbari, Omar Khairat, Hisham Kharma, Ali El-Haggar, Dina El-Wedidi, Hisham Abbas, Hani Shenouda, Tablet Elsitt, Ahmed Rabe, Sohbet El-Semsemiya, Andromida, Egypsana alongside their Jordanian counterparts: Jadal, Akher Zapheer and El Morabba3.
The festival will also present a number of theatrical activities, including performances of the plays Us Versus Shakespeare and I am Carmen, alongside workshops.
Other creative activities include film-related masterclasses and activities for children.
This edition of the festival is among the year’s most important cultural events of Alexandria. It is set to attract large audiences to the many venues offered by the Bibliotheca, including its open-air theatre and two indoor theatres.
