Egyptian rapper and producer Marwan Moussa released a complete two-part album titled Import-Export on streaming platforms to mostly positive reviews from his followers.

The album, released earlier this week, consists of eight new compositions divided into two parts: Import and Export.

Moussa's signature style shines through in all the songs, seamlessly blending rap with mahraganat and shaabi genres.

Some of the tracks feature songs like Panasonic, Waddyy, Bos Ezay, Dokhol-Khorog, and Volt Aali.

Fans have already taken to social media to applaud the popular rapper for his newest release. Facebook users left comments such as "yet another great album!" and "Great, amazing, strong..." in response to the eight songs dropping simultaneously.

On YouTube, the album has garnered between 100,000 and 200,000 views per song, three days after its release.

Yet the full reception from the rapper's devoted fan base remains to be fully seen.

A few followers have expressed skepticism, saying that they preferred his earlier albums.

This new album poses a challenge for the highly successful artist, considering his previous releases consistently topped the charts, with Sheraton being one of his best hits.

His 2021 album Florida emerged as one of the most listened-to albums on Spotify, just months after its release.

The same platform ranked Moussa as the third most listened-to artist in the Arab region in 2022, trailing only behind Wegz and ElGrandeToto.

One of Egypt's foremost rappers, Moussa, secured top honors at the 2022 All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) held in Dakar, Senegal. He was recognized as the Best African Rapper and also claimed the title of Best Artist in African Hip-Hop.
