Egyptian musicians Ramy Essam and Noor Ayman Noor, and Algerian singer Cheb Khaled will represent the Arab world at the 2012 Mela World Performing Arts Festival in Oslo on Friday 24 August  

Taking place in the City Hall Square (Rådhusplassen) in the heart of Oslo, the Mela performing arts festival brings music, dance, art, fashion and food from around the globe to Norway.

After their solo performances, Ramy Essam and Cheb Khaled will play a duet, bringing a distinct Arab flavour to the diverse audience in Norway.

The Mela Festival is an annual, multicultural festival City Hall Square in Oslo that will take place between 23 and 26 August this year.
