Legend of Sultan Baybars

A play showcasing the life of the most important rulers of the Mamluk era, Baybars I (1260–1277).
The opera celebrates the sultan on the occasion of his 800th birthday. It is believed that Sultan Baybars was born in 1223 with some historians pointing to 1227. He died in 1277.

Reem has performed at the Tahrir campus of the American University in Cairo, Room Art Space in Garden City, and most recently the Arabic Music Institute.
