Based on an original idea by the Oscar-nominated writers of Toy Story, the animated film titled The Inseparables follows the misadventures of Don, a runaway puppet with a boundless imagination, and DJ Doggy Dog, an abandoned stuffed animal toy in need of a friend.

The film stars are Monica Young, Danny Fehsenfeld, and Olivier Paris.

El-Sawy Culturewheel, 26th of July Street, Zamalek

The performance is staged by the Young Ballet Theatre Troupe led by Artistic Director Tatiana Kruk. The show follows the plot of the classical ballet of Cinderella.

The National Arab Music Ensemble will be conducted by Mostafa Helmy in the performance of numerous compositions linked to the 6 October War and nationalistic tunes. The soloists of the evening include Ahmed Gamal, Sara Zaki, Ahmed Said, and Ahmed Essam.

Legend of Sultan Baybars
 

Friday 6 October, 8:30pm

Cairo Opera House, main hall, Zamalek

A play showcasing the life of the most important rulers of the Mamluk era, Baybars I (1260–1277).

The opera celebrates the sultan on the occasion of his 800th birthday. It is believed that Sultan Baybars was born in 1223 with some historians pointing to 1227. He died in 1277.

A harp concert led by Yasmine El-Harby, an Egyptian harpist who presents many known compositions from the Arabic music repertoire, with arrangements for a small ensemble.

The French Cultural Institute, Alexandria

The leading Egyptian harpist of her generation Manal Mohie Eldin will present the audience's favorite works arranged for her ensemble led by the harp.

Room Art Space and Café, New Cairo

Reem Ezzeldin's first concert at the stage affiliated with the Cairo Opera House promises to be a wonderful opportunity for the young singer, who has recently established herself as one of Egypt's most popular singers.

Reem has performed at the Tahrir campus of the American University in Cairo, Room Art Space in Garden City, and most recently the Arabic Music Institute.
