Layers of Love - exhibition

The exhibition showcases works by Ibrahim Khatab.
Vibrant colors, applied in seven separate yet indiscernible layers - attraction, infatuation, commitment, intimacy, passion, devotion, and compassion - breathe life into an emotional spectrum. Khatab's work is a testament to the multifaceted nature of love, inviting viewers to reflect on the diverse array of sentiments it emotes and the profound impact it exerts on our lives.

Raouf is the illegitimate son of one of the most important arms dealers in Egypt. His biggest enemy is his brother, Fares. Raouf has one last chance from his father to become recognized legally, which is to kill Amina, the daughter of the family lawyer.
Directed by Amr Salama, the film stars Asser Yassin, Amina Khalil, Khaled El-Sawy, Adam El-Sharkawy.
In the Tonic Serum

Fluctuations in neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine don’t only affect mood but also affect motor functioning, sensory perception, and the overall human experience. The Tonic Serum is a dance performance that explores various phases of atypical mental states and physical experiences.
The show is choreographed by Doua Fatfat and performed together with Islam El Araby and Sara Gabr to music by Carol Abi Ghanem.

Cairo Art Book Fair

The second edition of the Cairo Art Book Fair hosts a select group of art publishers, art institutions, artists, design studios, and self-publishers.
The fair also hosts a public program of talks and panels. The public program features discussions on publishing practices.

ARTicaria - entertainment show

ARTicaria is a unique entertainment show presented by four artists from different backgrounds: Ezz Shahwan (bassist, guitarist, and music composer), Gilan Alaa (an actress who kicked off her career in 2011 as a radio presenter in Diab FM online station), Bakri Khaled (a Syrian Cairo-based actor, voice-over actor and scriptwriter), and Amgad El-Sharqawy (a radio presenter for Mega-FM station).

Mevlevi Night - concert

Led by the dervish Hussein Suleiman, the evening commemorates Rumi, a 13th-century Sufi mystic, poet, and Islamic scholar.

Irtigalia - theatre improvisation

Irtigalia is a live improvised and interactive comedy theatre performance, directed by Ramzi Lehner, with no script or preparation. All sketches are decided by the audience during the show and in some sketches, the audience is encouraged to join the performers on stage.
Ali El-Haggar singing Sayed Darwish

Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Alexandria
Ali El-Haggar will perform from the repertoire of Sayed Darwish in an event celebrating the 100th death anniversary of the iconic Egyptian composer.
The concert will also feature guest soloists: Amira Ahmed and Ahmed Hamdi Raouf.
The singers will be accompanied by the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Orchestra, Youth Orchestra, and Choir, under the baton of Nayer Nagui.

Omar Khairat - concert
Monday 11 and Tuesday 12 December, 8pm
Cairo Opera House, main hall, Zamalek, Cairo
Omar Khairat returns to the Cairo Opera with a concert featuring his well-known compositions.
The orchestra will be conducted by Nayer Nagui.
