The Dubai concert featured Diab's numerous hits throughout his decades-long career, such as Ya Ana Ya Laa (Me or None), Bahebo (I Love Him), Da Law Etsab (If He’s Abandoned), Enta El-Hazz (You’re My Luck), and Amarain (Two Moons), among others.
The evening which also featured Gente De Zona, a Cuban reggaeton duo, came shortly after Diab released his latest album Makanak.
The 12-song album was released across several hours, beginning midday Thursday 28 December, with many songs starting to trend immediately.
Diab referred to the album as a New Year's gift which he offered to his fans.
With over 30 albums and a huge collection of regional and international trophies and awards, El-Hadaba, as he is nicknamed by fans and on street billboards, kept his wide fan base growing throughout his four-decade career, transcending generations each season.
His concert on Nammos stage is not the singer's first appearance in Dubai.
Diab performed at Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai on 18 November 2023. This concert was postponed from 20 October 2023 "due to the unfortunate events in Gaza," the singer wrote on X.
