The film also stars Emily Blunt, Winston Duke, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and others.

 

 

The Beatbox House x Wust El-Balad - Music

The Beatbox House is a collective of New York City beatboxers, who come together to create music using only their voices and mouths to mimic various instruments and sounds.

The beatboxers will be live alongside the Egyptian rock band Wust El-Balad.

The Beatbox House will also perform in Alexandria on 3 May.

 

 

Alexandria Opera Ensemble for Music and Arab Singing
featuring Marwa Nagy - Music

Cairo Opera House, Main Hall, Zamalek, Cairo

Singer Marwa Nagy will perform songs by famous Algerian singer Warda.

Alaa Abdelsalam will conduct the Alexandria Opera Ensemble for Music and Arab Singing.

The evening will also feature singers Yasser Said, Mohamed El-Kholy, Walaa Tolba, and Amir El-Refaiy.

 

 

Umm Kalthoum Puppet Show - Theatre

El-Sawy Culturewheel, 26 July Street, Zamalek, Cairo

El-Sawy Culturewheel Puppet Theatre show revives the concerts of legendary singer Umm Kalthoum, performing two of her most famous songs. 

The show, directed by Mohamed El-Sawy, will include known songs of Umm Kalthoum such as Amal Hayaty (Hope of My Life) and Awedt Einy (I Let My Eye Get Used to This).

 

 

National Ensemble for Arabic Music - Music

Alexandria Opera House (Sayed Darwish Theatre), Alexandria

The National Ensemble for Arabic Music, conducted by Mostafa Helmy, will perform numerous compositions by renowned Egyptian composer Mohamed El-Mougy.

Soloists Noha Hafez, Nehad Fathy, and Hend El-Nahas will join singer Ahmed Effat in the performance.

 

 

Catharsis - Music

Catharsis is a melodic doom death metal band founded by vocalist Ahmed Sokkar in 2017. 

Through a blend of heavy guitars and melancholic orchestration, the band made its debut album A Journey of Remembrance in 2021.

The play is written and directed by Eslam Refaat and performed by the Creators of Alexandria Union.
