The concert, scheduled for Friday 19 July, marks the latest collaboration between El-Roumi and Abbassi conducting a grand orchestra.
The annual New Alamein Festival, which runs till the end of August, features a plethora of megastars.
It will be El-Roumi's second show in Egypt this year.
El-Roumi and Abbassi have collaborated in concert in Egypt on previous occasions. In April, they performed a concert at Abdeen Palace in Cairo. In 2021, they performed at the 30th Arab Music Festival and Conference.
Born in Tyre in Southern Lebanon in 1957, El-Roumi began her music career by participating in the televised Lebanese talent show Studio El-Fan in 1974.
Her repertoire comprises 12 albums, which include Kalimat (1991), Rasayel (1996), Qitharat El-Samaa (2003), Eetazalt El-Gharam (2006), and Nour Min Nour (2013).
In 1976, El-Roumi starred in the classic Awdat El-Ibn El-Dal (The Return of the Prodigal Son) film directed by the late Egyptian director Youssef Chahine.
El-Roumi received The National Shield of Honor of the Cedars, Order of Commodore from the President of the Republic in June 2011, and The Golden Key of the City of Alexandria in March 2014, among many other awards.
