Msh Romeo w Juliet (Not Romeo and Juliet) - theatre

A star-studded play features Ali El-Haggar, Rania Farid Shawky, Medo Adel, Ezzat Zein, Donia El-Nashar, Taha Khalifa, Aser Ali, Tarek Ragheb, among others.
Inspired by Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, the Egyptian play is directed by Essam El-Sayed, with music by Ahmed Shatot and choreography by Sherine Hegazy.
The play premiered on 17 June at the National Theatre and continues to be performed daily except Wednesdays.
Massar Egbari - music

Founded in 2005, Massar Egbari has gained a large following in Egypt and beyond, with a lineup featuring Hani El-Dakkak on guitar and lead vocals, Ahmed Hafez on bass guitar, Tamer Attallah on drums, Ayman Massoud on keyboards, and Mahmoud Siam on guitar.
The band regularly sells out concerts in Egypt and has also performed in the region and internationally.
Reham Abdel-Hakim - music

Reham Abdel-Hakim came to the limelight when she landed a role as a young Um Kalthoum in 1999, with a title carrying the name of the iconic late Arab singer.
Ever since she frequently returns to Um Kalthoum's repertoire through many concerts at the most prestigious stages in Egypt and the Arab region.
Abdel-Hakim received several recognitions including the Golden Microphone Award from the Arab Broadcasting Union twice.

Hanan Mady - music

Hanan Mady began singing at a young age and studied violin at the Cairo Conservatory, graduating in 1989.
As a singer, Mady made an unforgettable debut singing the theme song, composed by Omar Khairat, to the 1988 TV series El-Leqaa El-Thany (The Second Meeting).
She went on to sing in several TV series including Yasser Abdel-Rahman's theme for the TV series El-Mal Wal-Banon (The Fortune and the Progeny, 1992-1995), and worked with other renowned composers and lyricists, including Abdel-Azim Abdel-Haq, Helmi Bakr, Ahmad Fouad Negm, Ibrahim Abdel-Fattah, and Reda Amin.
Throughout her career, Mady released four albums carrying several tracks that became very popular among her fans, such as Leilet Eshq, El-Bahr, Sheddy El-Dafayer, Asfour, and Kan W-Kan.

Kadim Al-Sahir - music

Iraqi singer and composer Kadim Al-Sahir started singing since the 1980s and paved his career with many romantic compositions that gained the hearts of the Arab world.
Today, his repertoire includes more than 30 albums and 300 songs, performing a wide range of Arabic music ranging from pop to classical, and he has sung in most Arabic dialects.
Al-Sahir have earned numerous local, regional and international awards and have performed in many countries outside the Arab world. In 2011, he was named a goodwill ambassador by the UNICEF.
He is now a judge on The Voice - Arabic version.

Majida El-Roumi - music

Majida El-Roumi’s repertoire comprises 12 albums, which include Kalimat (1991), Rasayel (1996), Qitharat El-Samaa (2003), Eetazalt El-Gharam (2006), and Nour Min Nour (2013).
She received The National Shield of Honor of the Cedars, Order of Commodore from the President of the Republic in June 2011, and The Golden Key of the City of Alexandria in March 2014, among many other awards.
In her concert in Al-Alamein, she will be accompanied by a grand orchestra conducted by Nader Abbassi.

Mahmoud El-Tohamy - music

Mahmoud El-Tohamy started his career early in his boyhood by following in the footsteps of his father, performing Sufi poetry chants in many prestigious venues in Egypt and the Arab World.
He has collaborated with Egyptian Grammy Award winner Fathy Salama, alongside various projects with music producers from younger generations, including ‘Rouh El-Maliha’ with Molotof, a key player in the Egyptian rap scene who is most known for Wegz’s hit Dorak Gai.
Hany Shenouda - music

His many achievements include collaborating with Abdel-Halim Hafez and Nagat, forming Egypt's first indie band El-Masreyeen (The Egyptians), and discovering talents like Mohamed Mounir and Amr Diab, among other remarkable footprints in Egypt's music scene.
Furthermore, he returned with a series of concerts dubbed "El-Masryyeen - The Tale is Back" performing at local independent stages in highly sought-after concerts. Those concerts feature the young generation of Egyptian musicians.

Michael Onsi - music

Oud House (Beit El-Oud)
Michael Onsi studied oud at the Cairo’s Beit El-Oud founded by Shamma, graduating with excellence in late 2017.
A series of concerts and tours followed, in which he played with different troupes, many led by Shamma. Alongside this, Onsy began composing his own music until, in 2019, and eventually his trajectory converged on Mood for Oud, a project which he presented on numerous stages.
He continues to give concerts in Cairo and beyond inviting audiences to his own compositions and arrangements. His concerts often feature a singer.
Daughters of Abdul Rahman - film

Daughters of Abdul Rahman is a feminist drama involving four women.
The film is humorous and irreverent; and it introduces us to the women-types through thorough, well-rounded scenes.
The Jordanian filmmaker Zaid Abu Hamdan’s debut, the film stars Saba Mubarak (also the executive producer) alongside three remarkable woman performers.
