New films across cinemas
Starting Wednesday 14 August, across cinema theatres

- Hero Kid, animation film, starring Wenxian Bai and Yang Li
- The Adventures of Mansour: Age AI, an Arabic animation film, starring Mashael Al-Shehi, Michel Jabali, and Sultan Al-Mheiri.

Rashad Fahim & Hossam Mohey - music

A jazz night with the duo Rashad Fahim piano and Hossam Mohey guitar will offer a mixture of jazz and Latin tunes, arrangements and originals. 
Fahim is one of the most important jazz musicians in Egypt. He has performed with many Egyptian and international jazz artists, like Malik Yacoub, John Dikeman, Salah Ragab, and Abdullah Ibrahim.

Having studied with Jeff Covell and Ray Santisi in 1998 at Berkley College of Music in Boston, from which he graduated, Fahim inspired dozens of musicians through various workshops.

Ritmo Band - music

Ritmo is an all-girl band led by a vocalist, Myrna Shalaby.

She is joined by Nashwa Mohamed (keyboard), Nour Ahmed (guitar), Waad Hussein (violin), Mimi Ayad (drums), and Nour Youssef (tabla).

The band fuses several music genres, oscillating between oriental and Western tunes, music from the Gulf region, topped with Lebanese Dabke and catchy rai rhythms.

Maii Waleed's album launch - music
Tuesday 20 August, 9pm
Rawabet Art Space, 5 Hussein Basha Al Meamari, Downtown Cairo

Maii Waleed will perform songs from the new EP titled Nemow. 

Maii Waleed is an Alexandria-born singer, songwriter, and guitarist, presenting music that fuses personal storytelling and abstract thoughts.

Pay It Forward - film

Pay It Forward is a 2000 American romantic drama film directed by Mimi Leder. 

The film is set in Las Vegas; it chronicles 11- to 12-year-old Trevor McKinney's launch of a goodwill movement known as "pay it forward." 

The film stars Helen Hunt, Arlene McKinney, and Kevin Spacey.
