El-Oud is a frequent performer across Egypt and the Gulf countries performing in renowned venues and the small spaces hosting up-and-coming independent bands.
Bahgaga - music

Bahgaga band will perform Shokoko, an Egyptian actor and artist.
Led by seven instrumentalists and five female singers, Bahgaga is an all-female band that presents comedy monlogues and joyful songs in oriental tunes.
Comedy monologues that resemble comic skits are especially known to the audience, as they were once performed by Egyptian late comedians Ismail Yassin and Mahmoud Shokoko.
The band was founded in 2015 by composer Ayman Helmy who is also the band’s music director and composes their repertoire.
Arab Music Festival and Conference
Starting Friday 11 October, daily until 24 October
Across Cairo Opera House, Gomhoreya Theatre, and Arabic Music Institute (Cairo), Sayed Darwish theatre (Alexandria), and Damanhour Opera House (Damanhour).
The annual event hosts dozens of concerts for some of the most well-known Egyptian and Arab singers, bands and instrumentalists.
Directed by musician Khaled Dagher, the 32nd edition includes numerous artists such as Medhat Saleh, Hani Shaker, Tamer Ashour, Ahmed Saad, and Ali El-Haggar.
The festival continues until 24 October.
Cairokee - music

Founded in 2003, Cairokee band's major breakthrough came during the Egyptian revolution in 2011 when they released a hit single Sowt El-Horreya (The Voice of Freedom), followed by Ya El-Midan (Oh, the Square) featuring singer Aida El-Ayoubi.
The band's lineup included lead vocalist Amir Eid, guitarist Sherif El-Hawary, drummer Tamer Hashem, and bassist Adam El-Alfy.
The original lineup was joined by Sherif Mostafa on keyboard in 2008.
The band has released several studio albums, including Matloob Zaeem (2011), Wana Maa Nafsy Aad (2012), El-Sekka Shemal (2014), Nas w Nas (2015), Noaata Beida (2017), The Ugly Ducklings (2019), and Roma (2022).
Abu Shaar Brothers - music

Formed in 1983, the Abu Shaar Brothers from Syria began as a quartet presenting music and chants that praise Prophet Muhammad.
At the time of formation, the youngest member of the band was just 11 years old. As the band’s popularity grew, new generations joined the ensemble.
Soon Abu Shaar Brothers (El Ekhwa Abu Shaar), became an internationally renowned Syrian Islamic Nasheed group whose music and lyrics focus on a religious repertoire.
The highly popular band in Egypt and the Arab region, Abu Shaar Brothers have more than 600,000 followers on social media such as Facebook and Instagram.
The Abu Shaar brothers currently reside in Egypt, where they hold many concerts.
Angham - music
Friday 11 and Saturday 12 October

Angham will perform two days in a row, accompanied by an orchestra conducted by Hany Farahat.
The Egyptian singer performs extensively in Egypt and across the Arab world.
Angham began her career alongside her well-known musician father Mohamed Ali Soliman in the late 1980s, before embarking on her independent path
She has released over 25 albums.
The concert is part of the Layali Misr events.
Nancy Mounir - music

Egyptian producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist Nancy Mounir will perform her project Nozhet El-Nofous.
Nozhet El-Nofous is an audio-visual music show revives the works of a number of Egyptian singers of the early 20th century, including Mounira El-Mahdeya, Hayat Sabry, Fatma Serry, Saleh Abdel-Hay and Abdel-Latif El-Banna.
The show features actors Zainab Magdy and Amr Hosny, both coached by dramaturg Laila Hassan Soliman. The crew also includes Ahmed El-Saaty (projection), Saad Samir Light design, and Nazli Reda (sound engineering).
Mounir established her career after taking part in projects with well-known artists such as Dina El-Wedidi and Massar Egbari.
She composed and arranged for a number of films and theatre plays, including the recent Netflix’s short film National Day of Mourning in Mexico which was directed by Khairy Beshara, in which she was also featured as an actress.
