The opera's stage also hosted the Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra (ROSO) featuring Omani women musicians and the Moroccan pianist Nour Ayadi.
The concert was part of the Royal Opera House's celebration of Omani Women's Day, an event that saw a large attendance of the Omani community, particularly women.
Conducted by Tamer Fahmy, Al Nour Wal Amal performed works from the Western classical music repertoire topped with Mohamed Abdel-Wahab's Doaa El Sharq, which featured solo singer Dina Thabet.

The ROSO ensemble joined Al Nour Wal Amal in many compositions and performed works from Western classical music, topped with Gamal Salama’s Al Gani Ba’ad Yomain, and soloist Balqees Bint Saleh Bin Omar Al-Shabib.
Al Nour Wal Amal, founded in the 1970s, performed extensively in more than 30 countries on five continents throughout decades.
The orchestra's current conductor is Tamer Fahmy, a musician who teaches the girls and is the ensemble's music director.

The ROSO orchestra was established in 1985 following the royal directives of His Majesty the late Sultan Qaboos bin Said and has become an integral part of the region's cultural environment.
The orchestra is comprised entirely of Omani nationals, men and women. Women have been part of the orchestra since 1989.
The Royal Opera House is a leading cultural institution in Oman, hosting top performers and ensembles from the Arab world and the international stage.
