"Sherine spent 11 weeks at No.1 on the Billboard Arabic Artist 100 chart as of 16 March 2024," the Guinness World Records website revealed.

Sherine was awarded for her Kalam Eineh at No.1 and El-Watar El-Hassas at No. 2 which topped Billboard Arabia’s global flagship charts.

The Egyptian megastar became the first Arab artist to be awarded at the Billboard Women in Music Awards.

Billboard Arabia was launched in June 2023 to shed light on Arab artists, while pledging “to be the premiere global destination for artists with Arab roots.”

According to Billboard Arabia, the platform follows the well-established parameters set by Billboard over eight decades, drawing data from leading digital streaming platforms like Spotify, Anghami, YouTube, and Apple Music, reflecting Arab music preferences globally.

Sherine shot to fame in 2002 when releasing the album Tamer & Sherine with Egyptian pop star Tamer Hosny. She instantly became one of the top female voices in Egypt and the Arab world with over a dozen successful albums and multiple TV and cinema credits.

Sherine’s upcoming concert will be on Coca Cola Arena in Dubai, UAE on 13 December.
