On 29 September, the Oriental band known as Beit El Oud Girls, students of the renowned oud player Nasseer Shamma, will give a concert at El Sawy-Culturewheel, performing compositions from Turkey, Iraq and Egypt along with solos on Oriental instruments.

The concert is the initiative of Shamma's aiming to underscore artistic abilities among girls, who have an important role in Egypt's cultural scene.

Two additional musicians will join the evening: Ali El-Din Ashraf on percussions and Dimitry on base oud.
