Amal Maher - music

Amal Maher is one of the leading Arab female voices in the past two decades.
She captured the spotlight with her powerful voice and unique ability to sing Um Kalthoum's repertoire.
Maher has released four albums: Isa'lni Ana (Ask Me, 2006), A'raf Mneen (How Could I Know? 2011), Welad El Neharda (Sons of Today, 2015), and Asl El Ehsas (The Origin of Feelings, 2019).

In memory of the prominent 20th-century Egyptian singer Umm Kulthoum, Ali El-Haggar will perform her songs in addition to his songs.
El-Haggar has been one of the best-known singers in Egypt and the Arab world over the past four decades.
His songs carry lyrics drawn from the poetry of Salah Jahin, Abdel-Rahman El-Abnoudy, and Sayed Hegab to music by the country's most renowned composers, such as Baligh Hamdy, Sayed Mekkawy, and Omar Khairat.
Andromeda - music

Andromeda, one of Egypt's oldest active rock bands, was formed by Amr Hassan and Ihab Al Qalie (keyboard and vocals).
The band includes Hassan, Sherif El-Sharqawi (drums and vocals), and Ahmed Anwar (bass and vocals).
Founded in Alexandria in 1987, the band is widely known for performing some of Pink Floyd’s most well-known songs.

Ghostly Kisses - music

Ghostly Kisses is the musical project of French-Canadian singers-songwriters Margaux Sauvé and Louis-Étienne Santais.
Between 2017 and 2024, Ghostly Kisses released seven albums and EPs, including What You See (2017), Alone Together (2019), and Heaven, Wait (2022).
Ramy Sabry - music

Sabry rose to fame in the mid-2000s and has since released eight albums and one EP.
Sabry's songs garner millions of views, parallelling his continued creative commitments in Egypt and the Arab region.
Sabry took the stage across the Gulf countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia, and often participates in regional music festivals.
Cairokee - music

Founded in 2003, Cairokee band's breakthrough came during the Egyptian revolution in 2011 when they released a hit single Sowt El-Horreya (The Voice of Freedom), followed by Ya El-Midan (Oh, the Square) featuring singer Aida El-Ayoubi.
The band's lineup included lead vocalist Amir Eid, guitarist Sherif El-Hawary, drummer Tamer Hashem, and bassist Adam El-Alfy.
The original lineup was joined by Sherif Mostafa on keyboard in 2008.
The band has released several studio albums, including Matloob Zaeem (2011), Wana Maa Nafsy Aad (2012), El-Sekka Shemal (2014), Nas w Nas (2015), Noaata Beida (2017), The Ugly Ducklings (2019), and Roma (2022).
Massar Egbari - music

Founded in 2005, Massar Egbari has gained a large fandom in Egypt and beyond. The band lineup features Hani El-Dakkak on guitar and lead vocals, Ahmed Hafez on bass guitar, Tamer Attallah on drums, Ayman Massoud on keyboards, and Mahmoud Siam on guitar.
Massar Egbari regularly sells out concerts in Egypt and has also performed in the region and internationally.
Disco Misr - music

Disco Misr was formed in the mid-2010s by an Egyptian electronic music group consisting of two DJs and one VJ (visual jockey).
The band represents new Arabic pop that relies on its original fusions of electronic music, house, nu-disco, and punk music with Arabic tunes, many of which are well known to listeners.
Umm Kulthum tribute - music

The Grand Egyptian Museum, Cairo
In memory of the renowned Umm Kulthum, Egyptian singers Reham Abdel-Hakim and Mai Farouk will sing some of her famous songs.
Abdel-Hakim and Farouk became frequent singers of Umm Kulthum’s songs in many concerts at the most prestigious stages in Egypt and the Arab region.
Maestro Mohamed El-Mougi will lead the orchestra.
The Sleeping Beauty ballet - performance
24, 25, 26, 27 February, 8pm
Cairo Opera House, Main Hall, Zamalek, Cairo
Based on Charles Perrault's timeless story La Belle au bois dormant (The Sleeping Beauty), Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky composed the ballet. Marius Petipa choreographed the original ballet.
The Cairo Opera Ballet Company will be accompanied by the Cairo Opera Orchestra, conducted by Ahmed Farag.

90T Band - music

90T band is an Egyptian band consisting of young musicians who revived the songs of the 1990s.
Their repertoire includes a variety of hits from Egyptian and Western songs of that decade.
