In a recent social media post, Al-Sheikh also mentioned that the season will feature theatre productions by Saudi and Gulf artists, along with a few international plays.

The upcoming Riyadh Season 2025 is expected to run from October 2025 to March 2026, offering a wide variety of artistic and sporting events in Riyadh.

Since the early 2020s, the Riyadh Season has become a sought-after destination for musicians and theatre makers from the Gulf and North Africa, including a large number of Egyptian artists.

From Egypt, names such as Amr Diab, Mohamed Hamaki, Sherine Abdel Wahab, Amal Maher, Omar Khairat, Cairokee, Mohamed Ramadan, among dozen of others, including less known names and orchestras consisting of mainly Egyptian musicians, headed to Saudi Arabia during the festivities.

Additionally, several Egyptian theatre plays, featuring known actors such as Yousra, Ahmed Ezz, Yehia El-Fakharany, Donia Samir Ghanem, Ahmed Helmy, Mona Zaki, and dozens of others, took the Kingdom's stages.

Besides artists from the Arab world, the Riyadh Season became a growing platform for local musicians and actors to present their skills.

Turki Al-Sheikh's statement might indicate that the Kingdom will embrace a larger number of local and Gulf countries' talents.

The organizers are yet to reveal the line-up for the upcoming edition of the event.
