Under the slogan "Message of Peace," the concert will feature 120 Egyptian and international musicians in the orchestra, joining the opening ceremony scheduled for 1 November.
The concert will also feature renowned Egyptian soloists.
Hesham Nazih
Hesham Nazih is one of Egypt's most celebrated contemporary composers, acclaimed for his cinematic versatility and distinctive ability to blend orchestral richness with Middle Eastern sonorities.
Born in Cairo in 1972, over the past three decades, Nazih has scored more than 40 films and television series, becoming a defining musical voice in modern Egyptian cinema.
His early success came with the soundtrack for Sahar El-Layali (Sleepless Nights, 2003), followed by iconic collaborations with directors like Marwan Hamed and Ahmed Alaa.
Nazih's compositions for The Blue Elephant (2014) and its sequel (2019) were widely praised for their psychological intensity and haunting motifs, while his work on Kira & El Gin (2022) showcased his ability to create grand, historically resonant soundscapes.
Nazih was honoured with the Faten Hamama Excellence Award at the 2018 Cairo International Film Festival, becoming the first musician to receive the award, which usually recognises actors and filmmakers.
In April 2021, he composed the monumental score for The Pharaohs' Golden Parade, the globally broadcast event that accompanied the transfer of 22 royal mummies to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilisation.
His international breakthrough came with his score for Marvel's Moon Knight (2022), in which he fused Western orchestration with authentic Egyptian instruments. The score received critical acclaim worldwide and was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award and a World Soundtrack Award in 2022.
He won the Music Movie UK Award as Breakthrough Composer of the Year in 2023.
In 2024, his compositions were performed by the grand orchestra at the opening of the El Gouna Film Festival.
Nayer Nagui
Nayer Nagui is one of Egypt's leading conductors.
Also a composer and pianist, Nagui is widely celebrated for bridging the worlds of classical music and popular genres while revisiting Arab musical masterpieces.
Nagui regularly conducts Egyptian and international orchestras, specialising in works designated for opera and vocal performances.
In 2000, he founded the Cairo Celebration Choir, a 120-member ensemble performing a repertoire spanning Western classical music and classical Arabic songs arranged in contemporary styles.
Nagui has served as principal conductor and music director of the Cairo Opera Orchestra and is currently the principal conductor of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Orchestra.
He frequently collaborates with composers and performers such as Omar Khairat, Medhat Saleh, and Reham Abdel-Hakim. He conducts orchestral concerts featuring ensembles such as Cairo Steps and Cairokee, and symphonic reinterpretations of their compositions.

Grand Egyptian Museum
The Grand Egyptian Museum represents a global cultural, civilisational, and touristic landmark that highlights the greatness of Egyptian heritage.
Spanning 500,000 square metres, the GEM, with its trapezoidal architectural design and distinguished external walls, offers an enormous panoramic view of the Giza Plateau.
It houses objects from ancient Egypt from prehistory to the early Roman period. The museum will showcase the unique treasures of the boy king Tutankhamun, some of which will be on display for the first time.
